Sharon is an Executive Coach, Mentor and Strategic Advisor to successful leaders where she draws on over 20 years of business experience as an investor, board member, financial advisor and business executive. Prior to establishing her coaching business, her primary focus was on investing in early stage companies in a variety of industries through Dauk/Wagner Investments, a private investment company. Prior to founding Dauk/Wagner Investments, Sharon held positions in the Corporate Finance Departments of both Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and real estate investing and development.
Sharon’s clients are highly successful senior executives and entrepreneurs and their teams in a wide variety of industries whose companies range from early stage to fortune 100. She has worked with executives in consumer products; finance including asset management, private equity and investment banking; retail; management consulting, pharmaceuticals, marketing, advertising, technology, professional services including executive search; education; and non-profit foundations. In her coaching engagements, she has helped her clients navigate critical junctures in business development, achieve personal and professional transitions and improve management and leadership skill for both leaders and their teams.
Sharon holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS from the University of Southern California and has completed Columbia University’s Coaching Certification Program (“C3P”), a strategic partnership between the Columbia Business School and the Executive Education Department. She continues to be an advisor to several early stage companies, is a Member of the Advisory Council of the Entrepreneurship@Cornell Program, and is often a guest lecturer at the Dyson School at Cornell University.
Sharon has been a competitive Triathlete since 1981, completing over 100 races both nationally and internationally. Until recently, she was also an avid equestrian, achieving the top amateur level of competitive show jumping. She lives in Connecticut with her husband/business partner and their two lovable Labradors.
